What a surprise to stumble across the Albion on Coronation Road Crosby such a unassuming facade ,but when entering the atmosphere was warm and modern. Brick walls, bare wooden tables with candles produced a lovely ambience.
The menu was so interesting and different ..,,,,,,whilst waiting for the main course we were presented with a hessian bag filled with hay topped with the most delicious bread rolls served with mustard flavoured butter.
My main course was cod which had the most delicious flavour served with samphire which had the lovely flavour of the sea. My partner chose fish pie which was topped with fluffy potato and topped with cheese.
The desserts on offer are so tempting but having indulged in so much bread I decided to visit again some afternoon when you can have Pudding & Brew or Pudding & Sherry between 3-5 pm.
To complete my experience at the Albion I had British Mint & Caramel Herbal Tea which was gorgeous.
