Checkout Column - Some Products Worth Trying

Lunchtime at Bistrot Verite is a very social affair and when I visited on a Saturday it was buzzing and every table was filled.

The food is fabulous and it was difficult to narrow my choice down when I was faced with such a wonderful selection of tempting dishes.

I settled for something that I haven't eaten in a restaurant for many years, it was Braised Ox Tongue with Meaux Mustard Sauce. It was served on a bed of the smoothest creamed potatoes and accompanied by a selection of gorgeous crunchy vegetables. The whole dish
was quite delicious and even though I haven't got a particularly sweet tooth I even opted for a Rum Baba which was equally fab.
