Checkout Column - Some Products Worth Trying

Finally the doors have opened to TOM@101 Restaurant on Houghton Street and I couldn't wait to eat there.

There are entrances on Houghton Street and Anchor Street and what hit me immediately was the feeling of opulence, Fabulous chandeliers and dark wallpapers set the scene to a very smart eating establishment.

The food did not disappoint either, the menu is extensive and ranges from snacks to mouth watering main courses and desserts.

Whilst trying to decide on what to eat I was served bread with olive oil & balsamic vinegar and juicy plump olives to nibble on.
I finally opted for my very favourite scallops which arrived on a bed of rocket and were mouthwatering. I finally decided on sea bass for the main course which was delicious ,and the dish it was served on was a really interesting shape, it was rather like a large OVAL soup bowl and was a design I had never encountered before and was perfect for the fish
and vegetables I had chosen.

I had almost decided against a dessert but was tempted to try the eton mess which was
served in a small ramekin full of meringue, cream & fruit and was lovely.

The service was perfect and something else that really took my eye was the Voss spring water that came in a cylinder shaped bottle which is recycleable. Very smart indeed,.

There are tables outside where you can stop and have a lovely cocktail or coffee.
